I've always thought it's silly for content creators to write that they're sorry that they took some time away from the internet. I'm hardly a content creator, but my point remained: It's okay to take some time away, and nobody is going to suffer without your presence.
Then I started writing. Makes a lot more sense now, that nagging dread of productivity. The unending ring of "I should be writing", "I should be posting", etc., etc.
With that being said, sorry for the brief hiatus!
I've recently been working on a project that's taken a huge portion of my time, and I took on another consulting client completely separately, so my days have been quite busy.
We completed that first project with some success and some failure, and the latter is ongoing. I'll be able to share more of my learnings regarding those later, especially from where I fell short.
I'd be lying if I didn't mention that the latest Zelda game, Tears of the Kingdom, didn't have something to do with my break as well. I've found it to be a beautiful gem that melts away all of my real-life responsibilities. That's a great thing and a bad thing, but more on that in another article.
I have a lot of written posts I'm excited to share with y'all, and more in the works. Especially interested in sharing technical tutorials that I've been working on! One small tidbit coming this Friday.
Until then,
Austin
